*DONATIONS POLICY:
The library accepts donations of books and audio visual materials, with the understanding that they are subject to the same criteria for inclusion as purchased materials. The library staff reserves the right to dispose of or not accept any gift.
We do not provide a valuation of donated materials for tax purposes.
*PATRON CONDUCT POLICY
Any behavior which is disruptive or hinders others’ use of our library or our library staff ability to do their job is prohibited. Staff reserves the right to ask those not following patron conduct policy to leave, or to pursue other action as appropriate. The library is not responsible for any consequences of parents, legal guardians, or caregivers not fulfilling their responsibilities in regard to unattended children or vulnerable adults. Parents may not leave children under age 11 unattended in the library. Disruptive children, attended or unattended, age 11 or older may be asked to leave the library after one warning. Parents are responsible for the behavior of their children in the library, whether or not the parent is present. If children are unattended at the time
of closing, and parent/guardian is unable to be reached to pick up child, the child will be escorted to the Sheriff’s Department to wait until arrangements are made.
Smoking, animals/pets, alcohol, drug, or tobacco use, soliciting or selling of goods or unapproved bulleting board announcements are not allowed in the library.
*INTERNET ACCESS POLICY
The library accepts no responsibility for accuracy of information found online, damages resulted in loss of connectivity, security breaches, personal data breaches, or exposure to or infection by malware. Library internet access MAY NOT be used to access obscene materials, harmful materials, or pornography. Other prohibited activities include hacking, cyber bullying, identity theft, piracy, and installing software on computers. The library accepts no responsibility for what patrons access online, nor for any information lost. Patrons are responsible for using the printing option and accessing the internet knowledgeably.
LIBRARY DESKTOP COMPUTER USE LIMITED TO 1 HOUR PER DAY.
Access to WiFi is covered by the terms of this policy.
